I received a couple of additional contributions today (including another new sign up as well as a $400 contribution from a returning EcoPass user), bringing our total raised to $3105.

Another new EcoPass holder has joined our ranks. Hurray! With his $125 contribution, we're now at a total of $2135 (most of which has come from new folks joining our neighborhood program for the first time).

I was out of town for a few days and had several checks delivered to my house while I was gone. We have now had 10 families contribute a total of $2010 (our contributions thus far have ranged from $40 from a family who doesn't need a pass but decided to give anyway, to $400 from a new EcoPass family). We're still a long way from our approximately $9000 goal, but we're definitely getting closer.

Yesterday we received a $400 contribution, so we're slowly making our way toward our $9000 goal with a total of $890. I expect to be making lots of updates to this total in the near future.

As you all probably know (you should have received your fundraising letter last week), our 2009 fundraising drive is underway.

As promised, look here for updates on our fundraising status. For 2009, we will need to raise approximately $9000 (the higher number results from the increased cost from RTD as well as the expansion of our neighborhood by 2 blocks -- I'm still waiting on an exact number).

So far we have $490 in contributions, and I'm sure more will be coming soon.

Please remember to talk to your neighbors and to encourage them to sign up for an EcoPass (or even just to contribute a few dollars to help keep the neighborhood green by encouraging others to ride the bus).
